BGSG Racquetball Tournament Update
1) All Singles matches will be played on Saturday July 17th
2) All doubles matches will be played on Sunday July 18th
3) The official ball for the tournament will be the Ektelon Classic Ball (black)

ENTRY FORMS: You may ONLY play one or two events. HOWEVER, if you are entered in MIXED DOUBLES, you may play three events with that event being one of them. If you enter doubles, your partner must be declared on your entry form and your partner’s entry form sent together in the same envelope as your entry. Men’s A, B, and C doubles entries must be classified according to the singles skill level of the stronger of the two players.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all Kentucky residents with amateur status who are current USRA members. This is a USRA sanctioned event and non-members may complete the membership form and submit the $30 annual fee at the tournament site. Juniors (18 and under) will be provided membership courtesy of the Kentucky State Racquetball Association (KSRA). NOTE: If BGSG is the only tournament that you play, you do not have to join the USRA.

FORMAT: Divisions of 6 or less may be place in a round robin tournament. Divisions of 7 or more will be single elimination. You may play back to back matches if you enter two events. The tournament director can and will reclassify skill level entries if necessary, seed divisions when possible, and cancel or combine divisions of less than 4 entries with another division to make for a better tournament for all. Men’s 50 yrs. & Up Doubles division will be on a blind draw the day of the tournament.

STARTING TIMES: Information will be on the Kentucky State Racquetball Association or BGSG website on Tuesday prior to the tournament with the starting time and location of your first match in each division entered. If you cannot visit the websites call Bob Tillett at the above phone #.

RULES: USRA rules govern play. Each match will be two games to 15 points with an 11 point tiebreaker if necessary. Approved eyewear is required. Matches will be self-refereed. Disputes will be settled by the tournament director, whose decisions will be final. Sportsmanship is expected and required. You may risk forfeit if you are more than ten minutes late after your match is ready to start.
